Keye Wong, M.D.
A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College, Dr. Wong earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Eye Center and his vitreoretinal fellowship at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center, San Francisco, CA.
In 2007, Dr. Wong founded Retina Associates of Sarasota with Dr. Niffenegger to bring cutting-edge vitreoretinal care to patients in the Sarasota area. Committed to research and education, Dr. Wong has authored more than 20 research manuscripts and textbook chapters; participated as principal investigator on over 20 national clinical trials; made nearly 150 presentations at national and international meetings; serves as Course Director of the Workshop and Course for the American Association of Ophthalmology Diabetes 2000 Program; and reviewed manuscripts for Retina Magazine.

He is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Retina Society, the Western Association for Vitreoretinal Education (founding member), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, which awarded him the Senior Achievement Award in 2016 as recognition for his long-term contributions to the scientific and educational programs of the Academy. Dr. Wong has also been named a Top Doctor by Sarasota Magazine.
